Schubertov\u00e1, also Elisabeth, was born on 7 August 1909. Her parents were Dipl. Ing. Carl Schubert (1861-1950) and Odilia b. Sternberger (1887-1942). She was married to Dr. Ing. Bed\u0159ich Sgalitzer. The couple are said to have at least two children whose fate has not been resolved. Al\u017eb\u011bta Sgalitzerov\u00e1 and her husband were deported to Theresienstadt concentration camp in 1942, where they were imprisoned in the small fortress. Bed\u0159ich Sgalitzer was murdered there on 24 November 1944.
