Anna Kellner was born in Rosice, on 30th May 1873 . She was one of 17 children and lived with her family at Velké Meziříčí.
In 1897, Anna married Alfred Sprinzels. Alfred worked in the Sprinzels family business (Sprinzels & Son) at Soukenicka ulicka 4, just close to here, in the street behind. Most likely, Anna was also involved in the running of the business. The business involved importing and exporting produce, mostly preserved food, and coee. In November 1938, Alfred died before the outbreak of the war. He was 70 years of age.
In 1898, Anna gave birth to her only son, Frantisek Karel Sprinzels .
Anna lived here in Prague at Truhlarska 9, and was deported to Lodz on 21 October 1941 on Transport B, no. 630. She died of typhus in the Lodz ghetto. She was 68 years old.
30th May 1873 : Anna Sprinzelsová (nee Kellner) was born in Rosice, Czechia, daughter of David Kellner and Therese Kellner.
Anna lived with her family at Velké Meziříčí, Žďár nad Sázavou District, Vysocina .Czechia. There were seventeen Kellner children. Gustav and Robert died in infancy. Five were Holocaust victims :Hermine (Treblinka), Anna (Łódź), Heinrich (Terezin), Berta (Terezin) , and Olga (Lublin).
2nd May 1897: Anna (aged 23) married Alfred Sprinzels (aged 29 ), in Brno, Czechia. Alfred was the son of Jacob Sprinzels and Therese SprinzelsAlfred worked in the Sprinzels family business of produce importers and packers . This factory was in Soukenicka ulicka 4, Nove Mesto, Praha II.
9th July 1898: Anna (aged 25), and Alfred (aged 30) had a son, Franitisek Karel Sprinzels. Their residence was in Mezibranska street, Prague II
30th April 1923: Frantisek Karel Sprinzels (aged 24, a PhD in Industrial chemistry from Charles University in Prague), married Vilma Koscherakova, (aged 24, also a PhD in Industrial chemistry from Charles University in Prague)
3rd May 1927: Francis (aged 28) and Vilma (aged 28) had a son, Pedr Jindrich Sprinzels in Smichov. Peter was Anna’s grandson. Petr changed his name to Peter Henry Springell in the 1940’s. Refer to Stolperstein on Vilma Sprinzelsová for more information on Francis, Vilma and Peter.
6th November 1938: Anna’s husband Alfred died, aged 70 years.
1st September 1939 : Anna moved to Truhlarska 9 (World War 2 was declared)
21st October 1941,: Anna was deported to Łódź ghetto, Poland, transport B, no. 630, from Truhlarska 9, where she died from typhus, aged 68 years.
